The KeySmart Pro is the ultimate key organizer that gives you a peace of mind knowing that your keys are never lost. It makes your keys compact, quiet, and comfortable to carry, it also uses Bluetooth technology to track your keys on a map through the Tile™ app. The app shows where your keys last seen and activates a ringtone as you get closer to find them.

RESEARCH + DEVELOPMENT
EVER LOSE YOUR KEYS?
During our user research, we found losing keys was one of the major pain points for our customers. Many have requested if we can add a "finder" feature to be added into our key organizer to help them not ever lose keys again.
After few brainstorming sessions, we determined for the best user experience, our key organizer will need to be a consumer electronic product that works with a phone. However, it is a too huge of upfront investment for us to develop both an electronic consumer product AND an app. So we started reach out to the tracking app company in the field...
PARTNERSHIP WITH TILE™
That's how we landed with Tile™, the leading app for tracking your lost items. They were also searching hardware partners to expand their technology on. It was a perfect match, we will develop the hardware (KeySmart Pro) and they agreed to share their app technology for our product to sync and work together.
_DESIGN INSPIRATION
We wanted our product to look and feel like it could blend in with user's everyday object. It needs to take away the intimation of technology and make it comfortable for anyone who might own it.
_CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
Six concepts were developed and presented at an all-hand meeting with the CEO, Sales team, Marketing team and Supply Chain team. After hours of discussion, the team picked concept #5 for further development. We proceed to work with a supplier oversea to refine the concept to be mass produced.

FINAL PRODUCT
The KeySmart Pro makes your keys compact, quiet and comfortable to carry. It’s designed to work with your existing keys and requires no tools to assemble. You can also customized it by adding varies of tools to create your own multi-tools organizer. Utilizing the Bluetooth technology and the Tile™ app on your smart device, you can find and track your KeySmart Pro on a map. You can also use it to find your phone! The KeySmart Pro holds a charge for up to 45 days and you can recharge it with the Micro-USB cable. It also has a super bright, built-in LED flashlight.

COLOR + MATERIAL + FINISH
KeySmart Pro is made from shatter & scratch proof PolyCarbonate plastic frames. Assembled with stainless steel hardware. Each colorways were painted with special pigment for extra durability and superior finishing. The logo was pad-printed to ensure long lasting mark.
